Christchurch, This daj\ The bowling match, Victorians v. Christchurch Bowling Club, took place yesterday, and resulted in a victory for the visitors by eight points. Play began at 3.30 p.rp. qn four rinks, and was continued until 6 o'clock, when tlie score was as follows : — No. 1 rink:. Victorians, 17; Christchurch, 28. No. 2 : Victorians, 38 ; Christchurch; 15. No. 3: Victorians, 21; Christchurch, 19. No. 4: Victorians, 21; Christchurch, 29. Total: Victorians, 99 ; Christchurch, 91. In the early part of the game thq visitors had the advantage, but later the local men retrieved their position somewhat.
