UNSINKABLE SHIPS SCHEME APPROVED.
Wellington, This day. Tho Government have received despatches from tho Agent - General, enclosing the opinion of Sir Edward Reed, M.P., on Mr Isbistcr's scheme of unsinkable ships._ He is of opinion that it is quite practicable, and also that it would tend to lessen the dangers of ocean voyages. With some of the minor details of Mr Iwbister's scheme he does not agree. • .
