SEAMEN'S FRANCHISE.
Dunedin, This day. A deputation of tho Trades and Labor Council waited on Mr Stout on Saturday night, and he agreed to draft a bill for next session, to enable seamen to obtain the franchise by holding electoral rights, similar to miners' rights. Ho also agreed to draft a petition to have Dunedin reformed into one electoral district.
