ASSAULT ON A SALVATION ARMY CAPTAIN.

The captain of the Salvation Army was assaulted at the door of the barracks on Saturday night, as the services were about to commence, by six or seven young roughs. There has been" a sort of ill-feeling on the part of the roughs to the captain, and it culminated in an attack on his person. The police arrested one of the assailants.
