CASE OF ATTEMPTED MURDER.
Auckland, Thia day. The charge against Jones, late manager of the iron works at Onehunga, for shooting McDermott, a labourer, in consequence of a row arising from a quarrel over cards, was commenced at the Police Court _ to-day, McDermott having recovered sufficiently to appear in Court. The case is proceeding.
