DEATH CAUSED THROUGH WRESTLING.
Inveecaroill, This day
A man named Thomas Smith, aged 57, was received in the hospital on New Year's night with several ribs fractured. He stated that the injury was caused through falling while wrestling- at Lumsden, a lown about fifty miles from Invercargill. Inflammation of the lungs set in, and Smith died yesterday. Tho police are making enquiries, and it is probablo that an inquest will bo held.
