The reported occupation of Sontay by the French troops is denied. The latest despatch to hand states that the French captured an outpost at Sontay only after a stubborn fijjht, in which they lost fifteen officers and two hundred men, the emeny's loss being very heavy. The assault of tho Sontay fortress is to take place on tho 17th instant.
