A portion "of tho frozen mutton ex British Queen was sold this morning, and averaged o.jd. Tenders for the New South Wales four per cent, loan of £3,000,000 were opened to-day. The total amount offered was £7,590,000. Tenders at 100g will receive 95 per cent., and tenders above that will be allotted the full amount.
The rumor to the effect that the number of British troops in Egypt are to be increased has received an official denial, the Royal Dublin Regiment of Fusiliers, who are under orders for Egypt, only going as reliefs for the troops whose period of foreign service has concluded.
