Hastings District School. The annual distribution of prizes in the

Sewing—First prize, Maud M'Leod ; second, Alice Catherall. Standard I. (Advanced.)— First prize, Percy Hamblin; second, Gertrude Rice ; third, Frederick Waldon ; fourth, David Joll. Prize for neatness, Florenco Pickering ; prize for good behaviour, Caroline Cheer. Sowing—First prize, Eliza Donnelly; second, Gertrude Rice. Standard I. (Lower Division.)— First prizo, Nelly Maddison; second, Willie Oammock ; third, Mary Carrie well; fourth, Alico Shanlcy, Rose Cable, and Florenco Cahherall. Advanced Infants.—First prizo, John Brandon; second, Arthur M'Leod ; third, Thomas Keith and Robert Love. Chubcii or Enoland Bible Class. Tho prizes awarded to the scholars attending the Church of England Bible classes in the Napier district schools wore yesterday presented by the Rev. Do Berdt Hovell. Tho following is the prizo list: —Upper Division, Standard VI. : 1, Jossie Ryder ; 2, Mabel Browne. Standard V. : 1, Elizaboth Holt; 2, John Sohythe and Elsie Browne, equal. Standard IV.: 1, Mary Ferguson ;2, Stephen Lindsay. Standard III.: 1, Millie Ryder; 2, Grace Faulkner and Charles Lindagreon, equal. Standard 11. : 1, Annie Chisscll ; 2, John Lindsay. Lower Division, Standard III.: Minnie Chegwidden. Standard 11. : Bernioe Browno. Standard I.: Edith Hawkins and Maude Do Anthrean, equal.
