DISTURBANCE AT SALVATION ARMY SERVICES.
Ixvercargill, This day
At the Police Court to-day two lads, charged with causing a disturbance at the Salvation Army services, were fined 10s each, or in default 48 hours imprisonment. They pleaded not guilty, and their lawyer defined the hall as a place where people could do as they pleased. The Court demurred to this view of the case, holding that it was like any other place of worship.
