The total reserve in tho Bank of England in notes and bullion is £18,000,000, an increase of £500,000 compared with tho reserve last week. The proportion of reservo to liabilities has advanced from 42 to 43 per cent since last Thursday. Consols have advanced to 100 J. Australian hides are dull of sale at easier ratos. Sydney, Friday. New Zealand wheat, per bushel, -Is Gd ; New Zealand oats, 2s Gd ; maize, 3s 3d ; sugar, Company's No. 1 pieces, per ton, £'64. Adelaide, Friday. The wheat market is firm, to-day's quotations being -Is 4d f.o.b. at the outports, and 4s Gd at Adelaide ; flour, town brands £10 to £10 ss, and country ditto £0 10s to £'J 15s.
