Lithographed plans of her various saloons, &c, can be seen at any of the Company's offices. She is specially timed to catch the FEBRUARY SALES, and will report at Madoira with that object. As she has a large portion of her cargo engaged at Port Chalmers (her first port of call) her spaco for wool will be limited, and early application for space is advisable. It is intended that, weather permitting, eho shall go through the Straits of Magellan and call at the beautiful harbor of Rio do Janeiro. To be followed by the magnificent steam - chip— BRITISH KING, 3599 tons rogister, 2000 horse-power, J. Kelly, Commander. This steamer will also bo despatched for tho— February Sales, And as a largo portion of her homeward cargo will be shipped at Wellington, it will bo necessary for intending shippers to eecuro her remaining space promptly. Tho saloon and state cabins are superbly fitted and arranged and provided with every requisite for the comfort of the passengers, who are provided with bedding and all cabin fittings. The dietary Bcalo is most liberal. Second-class and steerage accommodation is all that could be desired, and the ships are commanded by experienced masters. The Company also charters ships of tho highest class as required, and vessels are despatched from London to each of the principal ports of the colony with strict punctuality every month. The Company has also ships loading homeward from NewZealand. LIVERPOOL AGENCY. A Branch has been established in Liverpool, and vessels will be despatched at suitable intervals to the principals ports in New Zealand. NEW YORK AGENCY. Messrs R. W. Cameron and Co. have been appointed Agents for this Company, and a regular line of vessels will be laid on for the various ports in this colony to meet tho requirements of tho trado. Arrangements for the passages of friends to and fro from tho colony, and also for the conveyance of cargo can bo made at tho Head Office, Christchurch or at any of the Branches in tho colony. D.
