Money orders close at 10 a.m., registered letters at 11 a.m., and books and newspapers at 11.30 a.m. Tho AVnipara leaves Hokitika for Okarito on tho 11 th proximo and for Jackson's Bay and intermediate ports on tho 10th January next. A steamer of tho Orient line will leaA'o Melbourne for London on the 14th December, aud Avill arrive in London on 29th January. Correspondence for this route to be specially addressed per Orient steamers. Postage is 8d per J. Gnunn, Chief Postmaster.
