BUSINESS AT THE ANNEXATION CONFERENCE.

(Received November 20, 0.35 a.m. SYDNEY. AVednesday. The Annexation Conference at its meeting to-day, decided to admit Sir DcsA r ceux, the Governor of Fiji, as the representative of that colony. His Excellency subsequently submitted a memorandum iv reference to the Pacific annexation. Tho Hon. AY. It. Giblin, Premier of Tasmania, submitted a communication from Mr Audcly Coatc, the Hawaiian Consul at Hobart, protesting against the annexation of the Pacific Islands. The Hon. J. Service, the Premier of Victoria, ivill submit a series of resolutions on the subject of annexation in the Pacific to the Conference at its meeting to-morrow.

(Received November 20, 1.15 p.m.) SYDNEY. This day. The Conference resumed its sittings this morning. It h understood that the Now South AVales and Queensland delegates arc in favor of a resolution being passed confirming tho annexation ot Neiv Guinea. Mr Service's resolutions on the subject of Pacific annexation are now under discussion by tho Conference.
