Municipal Corporations Act, IS7G," relative to drainage, are published for general information, and NOTICE is hereby given that on and after tho Ist of December next the Council Avill strictly enforce the law relating to making drains to connect premises Avith tho main sewers. Municipal Corporations Act, 187G, Clause 221. "IF any land or building within tho borough, lying Avithin one hundred feet from the sea or from a public drain, can be aud is not drained by some pipe or drain to the satisfaction of the Couucil, the Council may make such drain as it thinks necessary to carry the drainage of such building to the sea or to such public drain, and may recover the cost of such work, not exceeding one year's rack rent of such land or "building from the oAvncr or occupier thereof."
