MANAGER OF SOUTHERN CROSS PETROLEUM COMPANY.
CiiRiSTCnuRCH, This day. At a meeting of the shareholders of the Southern Cross Petroleum Company last night W. S. Harvey was elected manager. Tho chairman of directors made a statement respecting the company's property to the effect that they now had a title to 2000 acres and a lien over 3300 more, 5300 in all. Messrs Fcstel and Weaver were strongly of opinion that the prospects aro better than anything fee had seen in America.
