THE LONDON WOOL SALES. (Received November 20, 10 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Monday. The Hon. James Francis, who has been seriously ill for some days past, and whose condition on Saturday last was considered critical, is now improving in health. Messrs Goldsbrough and Co. have published a telegram, dated London, November 22, reporting that the wool market is firm, and that a fair demand is being experienced at tho present scries of colonial sales. Good cross-bred wools arc rather higher, but coarse ciuss-breds are neglected and difficult of sale.
