Tho Union Company's steamer Southern Cross Captain Ross, got away for Gisborne nnd Auckland at 0 o'clock last evening, taking a number of passengers, besides several original immigrants ex lonic for Auckland. The steamer Sir Donald, J. Quinlan master, got away last evening for AVaimnroma for a cargo of wool

The s.s. Maori, Captain Anderson, steamed for Wairoa at 10 o'clock last night, Avith a good cargo.

The fore-and-aft schooner Saucy Kate, Captain LoAvis, sailed for Auckland at noon to-day, taking a cargo of 400 sacks of maize and 30 sacks of barley.

Tho p.s. Mauaia returned from Wairoa at 0.10 a.m. this day, bringing some passengers and 7o sacks of maize.

The steamer AVekn, John Campbell master, is taking a load of wool olf to the Wairoa this afternoon, and will after its transhipment leave for Pourcrero and To Apiti.

The Union Company's steamer AVaihora, Capt. Eclie, was to have left Auckland for Southern ports and Melbourne between 12 and 1 o'clock this afternoon, being due hero by daylight on Saturday morning.
