OPENING OF THE QUEENSLAND PARLIAMENT. FLOATING OF THE RODONDO. RESIGNATION OF THE QUEENSLAND MINISTRY.
At the wool sale to-day the Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company offered a fairly representative catalogue, comprising 1800 bales, of which 1050 were sold at satisfactory prices. Greasy wools brought to Kijd, and scoured to 22fd. There was a large attendance of buyers, and brisk competition was experienced. This day. Heavy rain has fallen without intermission during the night. The pumping operations on the Rodondo have been successful, and she is now afloat.
