FRENCH WAR SHIP CRUISING IN PACIFIC.

The schooner Qucon, which lias arrived from Rarotongo, reports that a large French warship has been cruising about there, and the officers were ashore every day making enquiries regarding the produce of the island. The natives feared that tho French intended annexing the islands.
