The members of the AVanderer's Bicycle Club meet at the Caledonian Hotel at 8 o'clock to-night. Mr 11. Hill delivers a lecture on the land question, under the auspices of Clive Square Mutual Improvement Association, in Trinity school-room to-morrow evening. The inauguration of the Blue Ribbon movement, and the first anniversary of the Work- and Win Lodge, will be celebrated in the Town Hall, Hastings, to-morrow evening. Members of the Rifle A'oluntocrs mny wear their uniforms at the fancy dress ball to-morrow evening-. Mr Gardiner, chimney sweep, who has removed to No. 3, Surrey Cottages, Has-tings-street, will be iv AVaipawa on Thursday evening, and in AVaipukurau on Friday evening. From the 27th instant Saturday nighttrains will run between Napier and Hastings, leaving Napier at 0 p.m. and arriving- at Hastings at 0.45, and leaving Hastings at 10 p.mT and arriving in Napier at 10.-to. The timo for tho reception of tenders for the erection of offices for the South British Insurance Company is extended from Saturday to Monday next. A meeting of the creditors of K. F. Mortcnsen is summoned for Monday next, at the Court House, Napier, when the debtor makes application for a certificate of compliance with the provisions of the Bankruptcy Acts. Mr Ryan has made arrangements to hold weekly sales of stock, produce, Sec, at Beecroft's Repository, Hastings, the first sale being held on AVcdncsday, 7th proximo. Messrs Knowles and Co. inform sheepfarmers that they arc prepared to sort and scour wool iv any quantity at the Hikutoto works. The finder of a bunch of keys, lost or left in Post Office box, will lie rewarded on leaving same with the Chief Postmaster. Mr M. R. Miller has three sections of land in Hastings for sale privately. Messrs Blythe and Co. offer best quality of girls' goloshes at Is 3d per pair. Mr F. AY. Gamer has been appointed trustee in tho bankrupt estate of F. AY. Hollins, of Ormondville. An accountant offers to assist tradesmen and others with their books at reasonable charges. Mr T. A. Hayes, storekeeper, Hastings, delivers goods to all parts of the district at town prices. A lad}- and gentleman, with two children, want a home. The trotting stallion Newland's Hambletonian stands for the season at Hastings.
