SKELETON FOUND.-THE INQUEST.

An enquiry was held on Monday at Ormond respecting the finding in the AVaihuku river of a skeleton which had from its appearance been iv the water for some months. Ralph Ashley and another witness deposed that the remains, which had been placed in a coffin, wero those of a man named Q. H. Lyster Kaye, who had
lived for somo time on tho station of Mr Hutchison. On a certain afternoon at tfie end of February or tho beginning of Maylast Kaye disappeared, and was never heard of. At the time of his disappearance he seemed depressed in spirits, and complained of feeling bad There was no doubt from certain things found in deceased's clothes, which had not been destroyed, that the remains were those of Kaye. A verdict was returned that death had ensued from causes unknown.
