Messrs Hoadley, Lyon and Co. hold a land sale at tho HaAvke's Bay wool stores at 2 p.m. to-morrow, Avhen a number of valuable sections in the rising township of Hastings will bo offered to public competition. A first dividend of 2s in the £ in the estate of Edward Gillett Avill be payable at the office of Mr Garner on and after Friday to creditors who have proved their claims. Persons interested in the formation of a Bicycle Club aro requested to meet at the Provincial Hotel to-morrow evening.
The members of the Horticultural Society arc requested to meet at tho Council Chamber on Saturday afternoon. All accounts against tbe society must be sent in to the secretary before that date. The deed of arrangement made by M. J. Skinner, of Ormondville, for the benefit of his creditors, has been declared to be completely executed, and application will bo made to tho Supreme Court on the 31st instant for a declaration to that effect.
