ASSAULT ON AN EDITOR.—THE ASSAILANT FINED.

In the case of assault on Wickham, proprietor of tho Free Lance, by Dr Harrison, Mrs Dr Fotts' associate, Harrisou Avas fined 10s. Aspinall, Dr Potts' agent, and James Millett Avere discharged. No new facts camo out in evidence. Messrs Hesketh and Brassey appeared for AVickham, and Mr Burton for Harrison.
