At the Supreme Court yesterday tAvo Kanakas, Avho were charged Avith stabbing Arthur M'Quinlan, were acquitted. This ended the criminal sittings. AVellington, This day. The crimnal sittings of the Supreme Court closed yesterday Avith the caso of John Jenkins, convicted of larceny as a bailee, who was sentenced to twohe months' imprisonment.
