"VfOTICE is hereby given that, until J_ i further notice, the following will be the nights on which Nightsoil will bo removed from promises situate in or adjacent to any of the undermentioned streets, viz.: Sunday — Commencing at midnight, Beach-road from southern boundary to Emerson - street and Hastingsstreet, from beyond railway crossing to Rallies-street. Monday—Wellesley-road : Hastingsstreet from Raftlcs-strect to Brown-ing-street, all premises situate between Emerson - street and policestation, Tennyson-strcot and lower portion of Milton-road. Tuesday—Hills : Spit, Coote-road, and Marine Parade to junction of Byronstreet, and railway station. Thursday — Brewster-street: Shake-speare-hill from Browning - street, and Emerson • street to Provincial Hotel. Mb Thomas Bishop.—A prize, value Five C ttiuieas, for the best pen of 20 Lincoln Ram Hoggets, not artificially fed, (hay, turnips, or mangolds allowed), bred and owned by the exhibitor. Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co.—A prize, value Ten Guineas for the best pen of 10 Longwoolled Ewes, with lambs at foot. Mr Thomas Ceosse offers a Cup, value Five Guineas, for the best pair of Merino Ewes, to be grass-fed, unhoused and unclothed since the last Show. Messrs Banner. & Liddle offer a prize, value Five Guineas, for tho best pen of Fivo dry Longwoolled Ewes. Me W. Douglas offers a prize of £2 10s for the best shod hackney horse on the ground. Also, a prize of £2 10s for the best shod hunter or steeplechase horse on the ground. N.B.— With entries for Mr M. R. Miller's special prizes for Merino Hoggets there is no restriction as to feeding, but it is requested " how fed " may be stated at time of entry. . Entries for Mr Tanner's special prize for Sheep suitable for freezing must be shown in tho wool. There must be three or more entries for Mr Tanner's special prizes, or they Avill not bo given. Wμ.
