A GENERAL Meeting of Members will be held on WEDNESDAY, the 26th inst., at 2 p.m., at tho Jockey Club Rooms, Tennyson-street, Napier. Business—Election of Members. Notice of motion by Mr. A. T. Danvers : "That section (I), Racing Rule 11, Page 11, be altered by the omission of all the Avords after " 9st" down to "accepted" inclusive. The Rule then to read "Tho top Aveightiu any Handicap shall not be less than 9st. The minimum Aveight in a hurdle race to be 9st 71b." Notice of motion by Mr. T. J. Ryan : " That in order to give practical effect to Rule 9, the election of a President, Treasurer, and Committee shall be conducted in the following manner : 1. Nominations from Members of the Club to be in the hands of the Secretary at least 14 days before the day of annual meeting. 2. That on receipt of such nominations tho Secretary shall post to each member of the Club a list or ballot-paper, containing the names of all members so nominated, such list or ballot-paper to be returned to the Secretary on or before the day and Avithin one hour after the opening of such Annual General Meeting, leaving on the names of such President, Treasurer, and Committee as the member intends to vote for."
