ACCIDENTS.—PLUCKY RESCUE.

P> Fairclougli, Wesleyan clergyman, happened to pass and found a man trying to fish out the child and perambulator with a

walking stick. Thinking more urgent means were required, Mr Fairclough stripped off his coat and jumped into tho creek, speedily bringing the concern ashore at the expense of a thorough wetting. __________
