[By Cable.] Loxuox, September 13. The reserve in the Bank of England in notes and bullion is £14,500,000, an increase of £60,000 since last Thursday. The proportion of reserve to liabilities has fallen 2 per cent during- the week, and is now 46 per cent. Consols remain at 100^-. New Zealand securities are quoted as follows:—Five per cent 10-10 loan, 103, ex-dividend ; five per cent 1899 loan, 106|; four and a half per cent 1879-1901 loan, 101;[ ; four per cent inscribed stock, 101. The produce markets "were without quotablo change. Sydney, Friday. New Zealand wheat remains at i/3 ; New Zealand oats are (incited at '2/1, an advance of Id upon last week's price ; maize, 2/11; sugar, Company's No. 1 pieces, per ton, £35. Adelaide, Friday. "Wheat remains at 410, no business doing; town Hour per ton £11 to £11 5/-, and country brands .€lO to £10 10/-. There is very little doing in the market.
