BREACHES OF LICENSING ACT.
Wanganui, This day. At tho Police Court this morning, the R.M. presiding, William Henry Forder, of tho Coach and Horses Hotel, was fined 40s and costs for allowing billiards to be played on his premises after licensed hours (10 o'clock), the decision to be endorsed on his license. John Henry Jcnson, of tho Ship Hotel, was also fined 40s and costs for selling liquor on Sunday contrary to the Licensing Act, the conviction also to be endorsed on his license. Both publicans pleaded guilty. This is the second time Forder's license has been endorsed.
