A STEAMER ASHORE.

Westport, This day.

Tho steamer Grafton, from Nelson, when coming up tho river last night, touched the bank at the north side of the channel, a considerable distance insido the bar. She shelved on to tho flat and stuck there. The passengers were brought ashore in cabs when the tides fell, and a portion of the cargo was landed. No damage to the steamer's hull has boon sustained, and she most likely will be got off this afternoon.
