LOCAL INDUSTRY.
Dunf.uin, This day
The tender of Messrs Kincaid, M'Quecn and Co., a local foundry firm, has been accepted for the ironwork in connection with the new Duncdin railway bridge. The amount is not disclosed yet. There were fifteen tenders, and the Public Works Department consider them highly satisfactory, as showing that the work can be turned out in the colony at about tho same price similar work would cost at Home.
