HOTEL KEEPER COMMITS SUICIDE.

AVilliam Clark, hotel keeper, late of AVellington, and formerly of Blenheim and Picton, shot himself through the heart this morning. He had agreed last night Avith ISliddleton _svo-., from wliom he pm._lia.secL the hotel five months ago, to give back possession, and an agreement Avas drawn up to that effect. Clark appeared in good spirits this morning, and was Avorking in tho store room. Whilst one of the men helping him Avcnt to fetch a tomahaAvk ho shot himself through tho heart.
