Returns collected by the Chamber of Commerce slioav that between the 30th of June, 1882, and tho 30th of June, 1883, the various Avoollen factories in tho colony purchased 5705 bales of avool, valued at £74,805. Tho value of articles manufactured from the avool is estimated to oxceed £250,000.
