SLY GROG SELLING.
Auckland, This day.
Miss Amy Swansborough, tobacconist, was yesterday fined £10 and costs for sly grog-selling. The principal witness was a Fijian planter named Miller. The Court was crowded to excess during the hearing of the case, as interesting disclosures were anticipated. The defendant admitted that her real name was Mrs Healy, and she believed her husband was in Canterbury.
