ADULTERATING LIQUOR.
Auckland, This day. The police proceeded to-day against the landlords of the Scottia and Globe Hotels for selling liquor adulterated with Avater. The evidence shewed that rum Avas half Avater. A number of technical objections were raised, aud the bench reserved its decision.
