A WOMAN CHARGED WITH MURDERING HER CHILD.

At the Police Court this morning a woman named Josephine Green was brought up on two separate charges of stealing a, quantity of Avearimr apparel of the value of .O) from ITuwera, and of wilfully murdering her infant child, Arthur Stanfield, otherwise Arthur Green, on the 11th -January last at Hawcra. The merits of the eases were not gone into at all, and the police asked tor a remand to Ha worn till Saturday next, when the charges will come on for hearing before the R.3L there. For the hitter charge the woman is said to be arrested in consequence of the sudden and mysterious disappearance of her child.
