THE OXFORD ENQUIRY.

■Wellington, This day. The Oxford Commission visited the

quarantine station yesterday for the purpose of taking further evidence. The doctor was examined, and stated that in his opinion the ship Avas in a clean condition. He attributed the outbreak of fever to the o-crms of the disease having been brought on board from the emigration depot at Plymouth. A number of the immigrants complained of the water that was used on board for drinking purposes.
