A guiudig-gcr named Walter Black is mi.ssin°-. Hu is supposed to Lave been drowned at Northern Wairoa. His punt was fouud floating in the river with several battles of gi'Qg in 'it. Ho was a native of Pathurst, siged f<3, and was formerly clerk at Messrs Downing and Cos.
