The annual meeting of tho Hawke's Bay County Cricket Club -will be held at the Railway Hotel, Hastings, at 8 o'clock to-night. The children attending the Horschellstreet Sunday school meet in the Foresters' Hall, Dickens-street, at 3 p.m. to-morrow, and a Gospel meeting Avill be held in the same place at 7 p.m. Messrs Miller and Potts publish further particulars of their sale of horse stock to bo held at Hastings on the 28th inst.
Additions are made to the list of sheepfanners avlio are Avilling to rate themselves for the prevention of tho spread of the rabbit nuisance.
Mr James Sidey has been appointed Napier agent for tho Mercantile aud Bankruptcy Gazette of New Zealand. Mr George Hastings, painter, plumber, kc, Hastings, has removed to his new and extensive premises. An advertiser has a section of hind, Avith four-roomed houso thereon, convenient to toAvn, for sale on terms. A sum of money has been found, and OAvncr can obtain same from Chief Postmaster, Napier. A pu'-sc containing money has been found, and owner can havo it on application to Mr Cottrell, tailor, Hastings-street. A number of new advertisements AviU be found in our " AVauted " column.
