Dunedin, This day. At the Port Chalmers Police Court yesterday Herbert Bass, a boy belonging to the To Anau, was charged with landing a rut,' and lib of tobacco on which duty had not been paid. Mr Hose, Collector of Customs, prosecuted the lad, who pleaded guilty and was lined £ I (treble the value of the articles) and costs.
