HOUSE BURNED DOWN.
DUNEDIN,
This day.
A five-roomed house in Cargill road, owned and occupied by Mr Metz, a plasterer, was burned down this morning. Tho fire was caused by tho explosion of a kerosene lamp. The insurances are—Australian Alliance £170, and Norwich Union Standard £1 7 i>. The House of Mr Connell, adjoining, was gutted.
