An extensive forgery has been discovered here, and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of William AVhite, vinegar manufacturer, who, it is alleged, while receiving bills in a bona fide way, has forged numerous others with a similar date and tenor. Several persons have been victimised, and one has already filed his schedule, as ho is unable to distinguish between the genuine tmd forged bills. It is bolieved that the
latter reach a full £8000. White has disappeared.
