In opening a new school-room at Eoslyn Bishoi) Neville, speaking on religious instruction, lamented the indifference of the laity in this matter, and showed that their halting opinions on this important subject bare their own bad fruit, as thereby the hands of tho clergy were weakened in the efforts they made to obtain State support for teaching religion.
