A mooting of the stoAvards of tho AVellington Racing Club ivas held last night, Avhen it was decided to hold a spring meeting ou November 30th. The following is the programme :—Raihvay Stakes, U miles, 50 ears.; Hurdle Handicap, -50 sow.; Hyia§

Stakes, $ mile, 40 soys.; Trotting Race, 20 soys. ; Hutt Park Spring Handicap, 150 soys.; Hack Race, 10 soys. ; and Consolation, 30 soys. Total stakes, 350 soys., being an increase of £50 over the amount given at last spring meeting. Mr J. O. Evett, of Hawke's Bay, was appointed handicapper for the spring and summer meetimrs. The consideration of the proposals "from tho Napior Jockey Club respecting the formation of a Neiv Zealand Raciug°Association was postponed till next meeting.
