The following cable message has been received by the Premier from Mr A. Stuart, Colonial Secretary of Ncav South Wales: — " Informers now by order of British Government on board H.M.S. Nelson, and thus out of our jurisdiction. AYe know nothing of Imperial future intentions, but feci sure that ivhatever may be the ultimate fate of these men they ivill not be lauded in any Australasian colony."
