August 2. It has been decided that the trial o;
O'Donnell, for the murder of James Carey at Port Elizabeth, shall take place in England, and tho prisoner will accordingly be sent back to this country under arrest. In the House of Commons last night the Agricultural Tenant's Compensation Bill was under consideration, _ and was finally passed by a substantial majority. _ _ Dr. Alfred Barry, Canon of AVostminister, has been chosen as Metropolitan Bishop of Syduev, N.S.W.
