THE GALE IN AUCKLAND. Auckland, This day
The schooners Syhil and AVild Duck were scuttled during tho gale yesterday. Tbe former, hoAvever, Avas only partially sunk, the holes being plugged up, and the damage is estimated at £io(). The Sybil is insured in the South British office for"£2000.
The damage iv the harbor to shipping by the gale is about ..Cooo.
