THE PROPOSED AUCTIONEERS BILL.
Wellington, This day.
A well-attended mooting of auctioneers was held on Wednesday for the purpose of considering the Auctioneers Act Amendment Bill recently introduced into the House of Representatives. The provisions of the measure were discussed at considerable length, and a number of amendments were suggested, the opinion of the meeting being that the bill in its present form was inimical to the interests of auctioneers. It was decided to have the amendments printed in circular form, and forwarded to each member of Parliament. Dcnedis, This day.
