THE HUNT V. GORDON ACTION.
Wellington, lhis day. Tho case of Hunt v. Gordon occupied the Supreme Court all yesterday. The case was resumed to-day. Several of the issues in the declaration were struck out, and His Honor ruled that Sir Arthur Gordon had the power to deport any person or persons whom he considered were dangerons to the peace of the islands. The jury were re-empanelled this morning, and Mr Harper is now addressing them, and it is expected that counsel's address will be continued this afternoon. The summing' urj of Judjre Richmond and the consideration of the jury will occupy some hours.
